# Overview

The Coolify REST API lets integrations inspect and manage teams, projects, applications, databases, services, servers, deployments, and other Coolify resources.

## Base URLs

| Deployment          | Base URL                               |
| :------------------ | :------------------------------------- |
| Coolify Cloud       | `https://app.coolify.io/api/v1`        |
| Self-hosted Coolify | `https://<your-coolify-domain>/api/v1` |

For example, a self-hosted instance at `https://coolify.shadowarcanist.com` uses:

```txt
https://coolify.shadowarcanist.com/api/v1
```

The public health check is available at `/api/health` and `/api/v1/health`. It does not require a Bearer token.

## Before sending a protected request

1. Create an [API token](https://coolify.io/docs/core/security/credentials/api-tokens) for the team and permissions the integration needs.
2. Follow [Authorization](https://coolify.io/docs/api/authorization) to send the token as a Bearer credential.
3. Follow [Making Requests](https://coolify.io/docs/api/making-requests) to build the URL, headers, parameters, and request body.
4. Choose an operation from **Endpoints** in the API sidebar.

On a self-hosted instance, an administrator must also enable API access. Use [IP Allowlist](https://coolify.io/docs/api/ip-allowlist) to enable the API and optionally restrict requests by source address.
